For example, when edible oils are used to make soap... Would that be lumped together with one of the branches here, or is it missing? And how significant is it, quantitatively?

Here's one way that fish could maybe be included in future versions of this diagram:
* The top part would be renamed from 'crops harvested' to 'production primary', and would include ''wild-caught'' fish.
* The 'animal feed' would include any human-edible calories fed to ''farmed'' fish.
* The 'animal products' produced would include the ''farmed'' fish.

==Distinguishing farmed vs hunted meat==
The diagram currently does not. If it did,
* people could see that hunted animals are a small portion of meat, and
* people would see a slightly more accurate feed-conversion-ratio for farmed animals {{x|although if we really wanted to show that accurately, we could separate each farmed animal species and maybe even show an auxillary 'non-human-edible feed' bar for ruminants}}
Would such a change be worthwhile?
