Talk:Safe injection sites

Preliminary Edit
- Without safe injection sites, the whole city becomes an unsafe injection site.
- Some examples of why it's needed:
- Someone in a back alley rushing to inject the drug quickly before anyone sees: More damage to flesh and potential for overdose; in other words, the way the drug is administered can be almost as dangerous as the drug itself.
- No private place to use the drug → kids end up witnessing the use of the drug
- An FAQ we need: "Do they give them the drugs?" No.
- Yes I have met people quite a few people who really do ask that. It's common in "conservative" social circles where there isn't a lot of discourse/knowledge about these kinds of things.
- Safe injection sites can help in the pipeline to rehab
