Why
At least 1/3 of all environmental footprints are a function of how much new stuff gets made. Most of this could be avoided by repurposing old things (instead of throwing them away and starting anew).
For making low-cost housing
- Converting old buses into homes
- Converting old shipping containers into homes
- and even Converting old dumpsters into homes (don't worry, they can be washed first!)
Collective actions to take
