Archive:000/Research:Reduce mineral content of fuel cells

Fuel cell vehicles currently need too many platinum-group metals (PGMs). Some scientists are working on ways to reduce the amount of PGMs, or even eliminate them completely. Hopefully they wouldn't have to be replaced with other rare minerals.
