Summary

World map of countries, as raw headerless raster data.

Projection: equirectangular (geographic).

This is a 2D array (grid) of integers which correspond to country codes (M49 standard) for each section of longitude/latitude.

Converted from File:gpw-v4-national-identifier-grid-rev11_2pt5_min_asc.zip using Code:convert-nasa-countries.c.

Zipped download

The download is a zip file, but it does not have a .zip extension because of MediaWiki limitations. Please rename the file after downloading it (add the .zip extension) and then extract the actual file from it.

The file is 0.3 MB when zipped, and 72 MB when unzipped.
