This page is about how to scale up solar power enough to decarbonize energy production.
Things that won't work
- Solar panels of today - too mineral-intensive to scale up
- Concentrator PV - useless on cloudy days (whereas other solar panels are reasonably productive)
- Desert solar - too far away from where most people live
