Most meat, dairy and eggs come from factory farms that are "efficient" but cruel to animals. This page is about what can be done to stop this.
Overview
- With the amount of animal protein people currently eat (especially in richer countries), it's probably not possible to produce it all without factory farms. Therefore, people will need to eat more plant-based.
- There could still be some animal protein, from farms that don't treat animals so badly. Backyard chickens could also play a role.
