FAQ

Aren't calories just a myth? I know someone who is overweight who started eating less and didn't lose any weight at all! Why is that?
In order to burn calories, the body also needs vitamins and minerals. (...)( Reason (biology): Cell mitochondria biochemistry involves hundreds of different catalysts. Minerals and B-vitamins are essential precursors to some of those catalysts. ) Your overweight friend is probably deficient in some of those (due to eating badly), so their body has a very hard time burning calories.

P.S. This is why it's so important to eat some nutrient-rich foods such as vegetables & lentils.
