Intermittent fasting
Mode 1: The "warrior diet" (as it's typically called)
Not actually a diet but a meal timing
Eat in the afternoon, eat in the evening, eat until you're full. Sleep. Wake up, drink lots of water
Benefits:
- You can train better and harder while you're not digesting anything. discussion TODO: Add more detailed explanation about "fight-or-flight" & "rest-and-digest" systems
- During your fast, you won't be thinking much about food at all*
- *(as long as you're used to the schedule - it takes a day or two to adjust)
- *(as long as you aren't surrounded by people eating - humans are social eaters)
- When you break your fast, you can really eat until you're full, without worrying much about overeating discussion TODO: maybe elaborate regarding the fact that it's the total amount of food per day that matters to weight gain/loss, not the "when"
