Every once and awhile, I'll think of some idea for a product that I wish existed (i.e. "they should really make this"). But I don't have the money or time to actually develop it, bring it to market, and run the business, etc.

I'd much rather just post the idea somewhere and let other people "steal" it. ☺️❤️

"If it's such a good idea (and profitable too), why haven't companies done it already?"

Sometimes the only people who happen to think of a particular idea are NOT the same people who have the time or capital to make it happen (or even to pitch the idea to someone who does).

• Even just understanding why an idea is so needed, might require a lot of specific context and life experience. The people who understand might not be the same people who are in a position to start a business.
  • Even though companies do market research, their surveys are often multiple-choice questions with very little room for comments, and so customers' good ideas don't always get heard.
