EV battery recycling

General lifecycle of an EV battery, but this does not quantify what percent of batteries get recycled, nor what percent of the minerals are recovered when the batteries are recycled.

Making cars electric already requires a lot of minerals to make the batteries. For some battery types, if all vehicles were electric, it would be close to the limit of natural resources (for certain minerals). The situation would only be worse if the batteries aren't recycled properly.
