The harm to animals outweighs any scientific benefits here." 💬 discussion A little nuance here: Let's say, for the sake of argument, that some kinds of animal testing are a "necessary evil". Even so, we should avoid excessive redundancy. For example: When all the ingredients in a product have already been tested on animals decades ago, is it really necessary to test the product itself? And with each tiny change to the product, more testing??? In general, I would say no - and I think the status quo leans towards too much of this kind of redundant testing. Change is needed - we need very specific campaigns. Not sure how I should present this concept.
