Coal pollution mitigation
Coal pollution mitigation, often marketed as "clean coal", is a set of processes to reduce some of the pollution of coal power.
This does not reduce CO2 emissions.
It reduces other pollutants:
- Gases that cause acid rain
- Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
- Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
- Toxic metals
- Mercury
- Mercury
