Repurpose:

• Convert office space into housing
• Subdivide housing (especially if there's a shortage of single-person homes)
• Don't demolish existing buildings (as long as they're structurally safe)

Existing homes:

• Let tenants decide what work needs to be done

Socioeconomic

• Rent control
• Subsidized housing
